Eros Patrizi is an award-winning, Cordon Blue chef whose knowledge of Umbrian cucina is unsurpassed.  Along with his fiancée Manuella, this duo makes for a spectacular learning experience whenever they set up for a culinary experience.  Eros is also extremely knowledgeable and proud of the history of Italian cooking from a  multitude of aspects all of which he is happy to teach you.

Eros Patrizi was born in Berne, Switzerland on November 19, 1969, to Italian parents. He went to school in Italy, attending the Institute of Hotel and Catering, where he obtained his certificate for the restaurant and hotel trade in Italy. Over the years, he has taught at the Institute of Hotel and Catering in Spoleto, Assisi and Terni. Subsequently he obtained designation as a "European Master" with special expertise in the use of typical Umbrian products in high cuisine. At the end of the 1990's, Eros became a professional sommelier and also qualified as taster of extra virgin olive oil. During 2000, he returned to teaching and has been with the Spoleto Cooking School for many successful seasons. He also owns one of Spoleto's most creative and highly regarded new restaurants, Tempio del Gusto.  His parents own and run the nearby famous Trattoria del Festival.
